Charles Leclerc won the British Grand Prix on Sunday, giving Ferrari its 250th victory in Formula 1 history at Silverstone.
The Monegasque driver delivered the milestone result for the Italian team, which first triumphed at the same circuit 75 years ago through José Froilán González in a Ferrari 375.
Ferrari has contested 1131 Grands Prix since 1950 and holds a 22.10 percent win rate. McLaren follows with 203 victories while Mercedes has 138.
Ferrari president John Elkann said, "This is Ferrari's 250th victory, and the first took place here, at Silverstone. It shows how important a day this is for our history and, above all, for the present and the future."
Leclerc recorded his ninth career win and moved level with Rubens Barrichello in eighth place among drivers with the most successes for the Scuderia. The result was the team's second of the season after Lewis Hamilton's success in Barcelona.
