Formula E has released its season 12 calendar for 2026-2027, featuring 21 races across 13 cities and several established circuits for the first time. The schedule introduces the new GEN4 electric car and includes venues like Circuit of the Americas and Brands Hatch.
The calendar begins with a double-header in Saudi Arabia on December 18 and 19. It then moves to North America in early 2027 with races in Mexico on January 16, at the Circuit of the Americas on February 7, and at the Miami International Autodrome on February 20.
Other stops include Berlin-Tempelhof and Monaco in May, Brands Hatch in late May, Zandvoort in mid-June, Jarama at the end of June, Shanghai in early July, and a finale in Japan in late July. The COTA race will use the shorter NASCAR configuration.
Alberto Longo, Formula E cofounder and chief championship officer, said the calendar was chosen to deliver maximum sporting drama and showcase the GEN4 era sustainably. Most weekends will feature a new format with a 30-minute sprint race followed by a 45-minute e-Prix.
