Girard-Perregaux launches steel Laureato Fifty watch

Girard-Perregaux has released a new stainless steel version of the Laureato Fifty watch in a 39mm case size. The model features an enamel dial without a date window and uses the brand's in-house GP4800 movement.

The watch measures 39mm in diameter with a 46mm lug-to-lug length and stands 10.2mm thick. It offers 150 meters of water resistance and includes a screw-down crown along with a sapphire crystal that has an antireflective coating. Its dial uses a dark blue-green hand-applied enamel finish over a three-dimensional Clous de Paris pattern. The design omits a date window and incorporates 18K white gold baton markers and hands filled with luminous material. Power comes from the automatic GP4800 caliber, which runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a 55-hour power reserve. The movement includes a silicon escapement and features rose gold components with Côtes de Genève finishing. The integrated bracelet combines brushed H-style links with polished sections and includes a micro-adjustment system. Girard-Perregaux lists the watch at €24,000 and confirms it is not a limited edition.
