Patek Philippe unveils olive-green Golden Ellipse ref. 5738G-001

Patek Philippe has introduced a new version of its iconic Golden Ellipse dress watch featuring an olive-green dial and matching strap. The ref. 5738G-001 was presented during Watches and Wonders 2026 in Geneva, adding a fresh colorway to the model long celebrated for its distinctive proportions.

The watch features a polished white gold case measuring 34.5 by 39.5 by 5.9 millimeters. It includes a sunburst olive-green dial with minimalist white gold baton markers and a matching calfskin strap with cream stitching. The model uses the automatic caliber 240 movement with a 48-hour power reserve and carries the Patek Philippe Seal.

The Golden Ellipse, first introduced decades ago, is known for proportions inspired by the golden ratio or even an American highway junction, giving it a unique blend of square and elliptical forms that has become one of the brand's most recognizable designs.
