Girlfriend of Dylan from Anti Unión Tepito survives armed attack

A 16-year-old identified as Dylan 'N', a presumed member of La Anti Unión Tepito, was shot dead in Venustiano Carranza borough. His girlfriend, known as La Estef, was injured but survived the shooting. Authorities arrested four suspects linked to the crime.

On Wednesday, November 26, Dylan 'N' was shot outside a barbershop at the intersection of Hortelanos and Tapicería streets in Colonia Morelos, Venustiano Carranza borough, Mexico City. The 16-year-old, a presumed member of La Anti Unión Tepito, died at the scene, while his girlfriend La Estef, 25, was shot in her right thigh and took shelter inside the shop. Another companion, Oliver 'N' alias El Yulay, 19, was also wounded.

La Estef stayed by Dylan's body for a couple of minutes before being taken to a hospital, where she is reported stable. The Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) states the woman has been detained at least three times before, including a robbery case in mid-September. On social media, La Estef appears with firearms and illicit substances, such as in a video smoking what looks like marijuana to reggaeton music.

During initial investigations, police spotted a nearby brawl and pursued, arresting four armed men: Josué Omar 'N', Cristian 'N', and two minors, Juan 'N' and Arturo 'N', aged 16 to 40. Authorities seized two short firearms, a magazine, four cartridges, and drug doses. The suspects may belong to La UJ-40, the armed wing of La Unión Tepito, a rival to La Anti Unión. Journalist Carlos Jiménez identified La Estef and detailed her background on his C4 en Alerta program.

The event underscores violence between criminal groups in the area, with one dead and two injured in a direct assault.
