Jarkko Oikarinen jättää Kalmar HC:n vain kaksi viikkoa sen jälkeen, kun hän aloitti urheilutoimenjohtajana. 41-vuotiaan suomalaisen odotetaan palaavan kotimaahansa ja liittyvän Pelicansin organisaatioon.

Tiedot tulivat julki suomalaismediassa perjantaina. Oikarinen nimitettiin Kalmar HC:n urheilutoimenjohtajaksi, kun Daniel Stolt siirtyi toimitusjohtajaksi. Oikarinen oli aiemmin pelannut seurassa saavuttuaan sinne vuonna 2016 ja auttanut joukkuetta nousemaan Hockeyettaniin ennen toimimistaan urheilutoimenjohtajan assistenttina.
