Kalmar HC sport chief leaves after two weeks

Jarkko Oikarinen is departing Kalmar HC after only two weeks in the role of sport chief. The 41-year-old Finn is expected to return to his homeland and join Pelicans.

Uppgifterna emerged in Finnish media on Friday. Oikarinen was appointed sport chief at Kalmar HC following Daniel Stolt's move to general manager. He had previously played for the club since arriving in 2016 and contributed to its promotion to Hockeyettan before serving as assistant sport chief.
