Meg Cabot, author of the Princess Diaries books, has read a new script for a potential third film and described it as amazing.
Cabot shared her thoughts on the project in recent comments. She noted that discussions have been ongoing for a long time with multiple scripts considered.
"It has been in discussions for a really long time. There have been a lot of scripts, and I think this one that I most recently read is my favorite," Cabot said. "Fingers crossed that’s the one they’re going to use, but it’s a really fun idea, and I’m 100 percent behind it."
The author expressed full support for the latest version of the script.
