Rubicelia Ramírez, mother of murdered journalist Roxana Guzmán, announced she forgives those responsible and will focus on caring for her grandchildren.
During the funeral services, Rubicelia Ramírez stated she holds no hatred in her heart. She said she will await divine justice while judicial investigations continue.
Ramírez noted that authorities located her daughter's remains, allowing her a place to remember her. She expressed gratitude to the Fiscalía General del Estado and the Fiscalía General de la República.
Roxana Berenice Guzmán Ramírez was deprived of her freedom on June 2 in Nanchital, Veracruz. Her remains were found the Friday before the funeral. Several people have been detained in the case, including Jorge Iván ‘N’ alias ‘Delta 1’ and José del Carmen ‘N’ alias ‘Delta 7’.
