No Joy announces Big Life, Big Leaf EP

No Joy has revealed plans for a new three-track EP titled Big Life, Big Leaf. The release serves as a companion to the band's 2025 album Bugland.

The EP is scheduled for release on August 21 through Hand Drawn Dracula. It features the title track, which was co-written with longtime collaborator Jorge Elbrecht.

Jasamine White-Gluz of No Joy reunited with producer Angel Marcloid, known as Fire-Toolz, for the project. White-Gluz described the title track as a demo left over from the Bugland sessions.

In a statement, she explained the song explores the pain of saying goodbye while emphasizing the need for joy during such times. A video for the track is now available.

Bugland was No Joy's fifth album, following 2020's Motherhood. Marcloid released her own album Lavender Networks last month on Warp Records.
