No Joy annonce l'EP Big Life, Big Leaf

No Joy a dévoilé ses projets pour un nouvel EP de trois titres intitulé Big Life, Big Leaf. Cette sortie fait office de compagnon à l'album Bugland du groupe, paru en 2025.

L'EP doit sortir le 21 août via le label Hand Drawn Dracula. Il contient le titre éponyme, coécrit avec Jorge Elbrecht, collaborateur de longue date. Jasamine White-Gluz de No Joy a retrouvé la productrice Angel Marcloid, connue sous le nom de Fire-Toolz, pour ce projet. White-Gluz a décrit la chanson-titre comme une maquette issue des sessions de Bugland. Dans une déclaration, elle a expliqué que le morceau explore la douleur des adieux tout en soulignant le besoin de joie dans de tels moments. Une vidéo pour le titre est désormais disponible. Bugland était le cinquième album de No Joy, faisant suite à Motherhood sorti en 2020. Marcloid a publié son propre album, Lavender Networks, le mois dernier chez Warp Records.
