Oburu criticizes Orengo for neglecting Siaya County services

ODM leader Dr Oburu Odinga has criticized Siaya Governor James Orengo for focusing on national politics instead of addressing local residents' challenges.

Speaking in Siaya, Dr Oburu said Orengo should focus on fixing poor roads, water shortages, inadequate health services and delayed county worker salaries.

He urged the governor to cooperate with the national government to secure more projects rather than joining anti-government protests.

Dr Oburu praised ODM members for not joining recent Gen Z protests and noted the party is not rushing into alliance talks ahead of the 2027 elections.
