Ennätysmäärä lukiolaisia Taalainmaalla menetti opintotukensa lukuvuonna 2025/2026 luvattomien poissaolojen vuoksi.

Taalainmaalla 10,6 prosenttia opiskelijoista jäi tuen ulkopuolelle. Suurin osuus kirjattiin Borlängen kunnassa, 13,7 prosenttia, kun taas Leksandin kunnassa osuus oli alhaisin, 5,3 prosenttia.

CSN:n analyytikko Peter Engberg toteaa, että koulut tekevät töitä luvattomia poissaoloja vastaan, mutta eivät ole vielä saavuttaneet toivottua tulosta. Hän viittaa tiukentuneisiin ilmoituskäytäntöihin ja lukiolaisten poissaolojen yleiseen kasvuun.

Opintotuen menettäminen edellyttää vähintään neljän tunnin luvattomia poissaoloja yhden kuukauden aikana. Koko Ruotsin tasolla luku oli 11,8 prosenttia, mikä on kasvu edellisvuosiin verrattuna.
