Police arrest two men for stealing motorcycle of Kopassus member in Cakung

Police have arrested Harto and Sikin for stealing a motorcycle belonging to a Kopassus member in Cakung, Jakarta Timur.

The incident occurred on Saturday, 20 June 2026, in Gg. Bona, Penggilingan village, Cakung district. The victim, identified as SA and training at Kopassus Cijantung, parked the borrowed motorcycle around 17.00 WIB. It was reported missing at 18.30 WIB.

Cakung police chief AKP Andre Tri Putra said suspect Harto (21) stole the motorcycle by breaking the steering lock with a Letter T key. Harto admitted to more than five thefts and selling the stolen motorcycles to Sikin (39).

Police arrested Harto with the motorcycle in Bekasi at 21.35 WIB. Sikin was arrested at 23.50 WIB. Evidence including a Letter T key and magnet keys was found. Sikin admitted buying four stolen motorcycles from Harto, with a planned purchase worth Rp2.5 million.
