Madison Atiabi has voluntarily dismissed her petition for a temporary restraining order (TRO) against Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua, according to a statement from her attorney, Joseph Kar, released on Friday.
Kar explained the decision allows the focus to shift to the ongoing civil lawsuit alleging physical injury, emotional distress, and an antisemitic remark during a New Year's Eve 2025 dinner in Los Angeles. Atiabi claims Nacua said 'f*** all the Jews' before biting her left shoulder, leaving teeth marks documented in court filings.
This follows earlier developments, including video footage released by TMZ Sports showing Atiabi twerking near a passed-out Nacua in a van hours after the alleged bite. Nacua's attorney, Levi McCathern, has described the bite as 'harmless horseplay' with a minor, temporary mark, denied any antisemitic comment, and labeled the suit a 'shakedown attempt.' Kar rejected these characterizations, insisting it was neither playful nor extortionate.
Atiabi's team also reports threats against her, which police are investigating. The civil suit continues, with prior mediation in March having failed. A TRO hearing had been scheduled for April 14 but is now moot following the withdrawal.
