Saepul Bahri Binzein, known as Om Zein, faces fresh criticism from Purwakarta residents after posting a video of his motorcycle tour with West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi to Yogyakarta.
In a July 5 2026 Instagram post on @omzein_bupatiaing, Om Zein explained that he accompanied Governor Dedi Mulyadi on a motorcycle trip. He noted that the group had reached Banjarnegara along with Depok Regent Supian Suri and Cianjur Regent Mohammad Wahyu Ferdian.
Purwakarta residents responded to the post with remarks urging Om Zein to focus on completing his own duties in the region. One netizen commented in Sundanese that the regent should stop following the governor and handle work in Purwakarta.
The criticism follows earlier controversy over Om Zein’s Sundanese song Lalaki Langit Lalanang Bejat, which has been viewed as demeaning toward women.
