Authorities in Jaipur seized 53,256 bottles of Red Bull Energy Drink during a raid at a warehouse. The operation was conducted under Rajasthan's 'Shuddh Aahar Milawat Par Waar' campaign targeting food adulteration and misleading practices.
Officials alleged that the product labels carried promotional claims such as "energy drink" and "vitalises body and mind" that may not comply with FSSAI guidelines. Samples have been sent for testing.
Legal action is being prepared under the Food Safety and Standards Act.
