Rico Dowdle shares respect for Jaylen Warren amid competition

Rico Dowdle has expressed respect for teammate Jaylen Warren as the two running backs compete for carries with the Pittsburgh Steelers during organized team activities.

Dowdle spoke Thursday during the second week of OTAs. He noted that the pair first connected last season and have built on that foundation this spring. “We reached out to each other last year during the season, and kind of gave each other respect then. But it’s been great getting here, working with him and getting to know him personally, come in, put the work in with him each and every day,” Dowdle said via Steelers.com.
