Afeela 1 adds PlayStation game themes, pricing at CES

Building on its previously announced PlayStation Remote Play, Sony Honda's Afeela 1 EV now features customizable themes from games like Astro Bot and God of War Ragnarök, plus new pricing and reservation details unveiled at CES 2026.

Sony Honda Mobility showcased expanded PlayStation integrations for its Afeela 1 electric vehicle at CES on January 6, 2026. In addition to the PS Remote Play feature announced last month—which allows streaming from a home PS4/PS5 via the infotainment system—the car now offers customizable dashboard themes inspired by PlayStation titles.

Drivers can select wallpapers and e-motor sound effects from games including Astro Bot and God of War Ragnarök, creating a 'unique audio visual experience' for gaming fans, per Sony. The Afeela 1 starts at $102,900 for late 2026 release, with the Origin model following in 2027 at $89,900.

Izumi Kawanishi, Sony Honda Mobility's president and COO, reiterated the vision: 'The introduction of PS Remote Play embodies Afeela’s vision for mobility: transforming the traveling space into a captivating and emotional one. Through this integration, we are elevating the customer’s entire travel experience to an unprecedented level of entertainment.'

Reservations are open with a $200 deposit. This follows industry trends like Tesla's discontinued Steam support and Microsoft's Xbox Cloud Gaming on LG vehicles.
