Superservicios examines 598 companies for compliance with records

Superservicios has launched preliminary inquiries into 598 energy and gas companies to verify information reporting to the Sistema Único de Información.

The agency aims to assess compliance with timely data reporting to the SUI and updates to the Registro Único de Prestadores de Servicios Públicos. The companies under review include energy providers in the Sistema Interconectado Nacional, non-interconnected zones, and firms supplying combustible gas via networks or liquefied petroleum gas.

The processes have already identified omissions in RUPS updates and failures to submit mandatory formats to the SUI. Superservicios noted that this system is the sector's sole official source and that authorities rely on its data for decisions.

The agency urged companies to meet their obligations to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of sector information.
