System of a Down launches European tour with Sweden show

System of a Down opened their 2026 UK and European stadium tour on June 29 at Strawberry Arena in Solna, Sweden. The band delivered a 29-song set without an encore.

The performance marked the group's first European headline dates since 2017. Fans shared positive reactions on social media, with one noting the enthusiastic crowd and another calling it a fantastic show.

The set opened with B.Y.O.B. and included tracks such as Aerials, Chop Suey! and Toxicity. Rarities like Forest and the 1999 demo DAM also appeared. Queens of the Stone Age supported and revived several deep cuts from their 2007 album Era Vulgaris.

The tour continues with dates in France, Italy and Germany, followed by two shows at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. System of a Down also launched pop-up shops selling exclusive merchandise tied to the 25th anniversary of Toxicity.
