Skellefteån kunnassa toimiva opettaja on tuomittu 12-vuotiaan oppilaan seksuaalisesta hyväksikäytöstä. Käräjäoikeus antoi tuomion 22. toukokuuta 2026.

Tapaus sattui helmikuussa 2024 peruskoulussa Skellefteån kunnassa. Oppilas kertoi opettajan tarttuneen häntä takapuolesta ja ilmoitti asiasta myöhemmin samana päivänä kouluterveydenhoitajalle.

Opettaja väitti törmänneensä oppilaaseen käytävällä ja tarttuneensa tätä estääkseen kaatumisen. Käräjäoikeus hylkäsi selityksen jälkikäteen keksittynä ja tuomitsi miehen ehdolliseen vankeuteen sekä 15 000 kruunun vahingonkorvauksiin.

Hänet vapautettiin toisesta syytteestä, joka koski toista oppilasta. Mies jatkoi työskentelyä koulussa ilmoituksen jälkeen, mutta irtisanoutui huhtikuussa 2026. Koulutoimenjohtaja Henrik Bolin totesi, että päätös pitää hänet työssä tehtiin, jotta oikeusprosessia ei ennakoitaisi.
