Terrion Arnold lawyer claims three NFL teams contacted former Lions CB

The lawyer for former Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold told a Florida court this week that three NFL teams have contacted the player since his release and that Arnold expects to sign with a team within 30 days.

Arnold faces felony charges related to a kidnapping and armed robbery that occurred in February. He is free on a $1 million bond while the prosecution seeks to add a GPS monitor as a condition of his pretrial release.

The court had previously rejected the monitor request. After the Lions released Arnold, prosecutors filed a new motion to require the device. In an objection filed by attorney Harvey Steinberg, the defense noted that three other NFL clubs have already reached out about Arnold's services.

Arnold will not clear waivers until Thursday afternoon. It remains unclear whether any team will sign him given the pending charges.
