Kolme nuorta on vangittu epäiltynä elävän käsikranaatin asettamisesta asuintalon ulkopuolelle Uppsalan keskustassa sijaitsevalla Höganäsin alueella. Laite löydettiin huhtikuun puolivälissä; poliisi vahvisti pidätykset ja syytteet perjantaina.

Poliisi sai 14. huhtikuuta ilmoituksen epäilyttävästä esineestä kerrostalossa Höganäsissa. Kansallinen pommiryhmä saapui paikalle ja totesi sen olevan elävä käsikranaatti. Tapauksesta aloitettiin esitutkinta rikosnimikkeellä törkeän vaaran aiheuttaminen.

Jatkotutkinnan jälkeen kolme nuorta pidätettiin aiemmin tällä viikolla. Perjantai-iltapäivänä Uppsalan käräjäoikeus päätti vangita heidät epäiltynä törkeän vaaran aiheuttamisen yrityksestä sekä sytytys- ja räjähdealan rikkomuksesta.

Poliisi on sittemmin lisännyt läsnäoloaan alueella ja asentanut useita kameroita. Käynnissä olevasta tutkinnasta ei anneta tässä vaiheessa lisäkommentteja.
