Tochigi robbery-murder suspect arrested at Haneda airport before Seoul flight

A 28-year-old man accused in a Tochigi robbery-murder case was taken into custody at Tokyo's Haneda Airport in the early hours of Sunday, shortly before his planned flight to Seoul.

Japanese police said the man was arrested as he attempted to flee to South Korea.

His detention at the airport prevented any further escape.
