Ruotsin luonnonhistoriallinen museo varoittaa koivun siitepölyhuippujen leviämisestä laajalle alueelle Sveanmaan luoteisosissa, Norrlannin sisämaan eteläosissa sekä Norrlannin rannikolla. Riskin arvioidaan olevan näillä alueilla erittäin korkea tai kohonnut.

Koivun kukinta on parhaillaan hiipumassa Etelä-Ruotsissa. Sen sijaan tammen siitepölypitoisuudet ovat nousussa Skånessa ja Blekingessä, missä riski on korkea. Muualla Götamaassa ja Sveanmaan eteläosissa riski on edelleen kohonnut.

Mittaukset perustuvat museon siitepölyasemien tietoihin. Varoitus koskee tulevia päiviä 9. toukokuuta 2026 alkaen.
