Yukai Engineering unveils baby fan at CES 2026

Yukai Engineering has introduced Baby FuFu, a portable cat-shaped fan designed for babies, at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. The gadget attaches to strollers and aims to keep infants cool while ensuring safety. It stems from feedback on the company's earlier drink-cooling device.

At CES 2026, held in Las Vegas from January 4 to 9, Yukai Engineering showcased Baby FuFu, a new portable fan tailored for babies. The device, which resembles a cute cat, clips onto stroller handles using its "hands" and "feet" for secure attachment. Parents can adjust its angle to direct airflow toward a child's face or other areas, with three speed settings controlled by a single button. It charges via USB-C and features concealed fan blades behind a slit plate to prevent tiny fingers from reaching them.

Baby FuFu evolved from the company's Nekojita FuFu, a smaller gadget for cooling drinks. "Baby FuFu grew out of Nekojita FuFu fans' feedback that their children love not only cooling their food with it but also playing with it, pretending to fan their faces and blow-dry their hair," said Yukai Engineering CEO Shunsuke Aoki.

The fan builds on Yukai's track record of whimsical tech, including the Mirumi robot charm, which has raised over $250,000 on Kickstarter. That campaign ends on January 22. Yukai plans to release Baby FuFu in mid-2026, priced between $50 and $60.

This launch highlights CES's focus on innovative, family-oriented gadgets amid broader coverage of events like Samsung's press conference.
