Her partner, Roy Hernández, confirmed the death via TMZ and a GoFundMe campaign. The actress was recently diagnosed with meningitis and several blood infections that led to septic complications and organ failure.
Chase had been admitted to a Los Angeles hospital in early June for malnutrition. Doctors warned that her condition was critical and time could be limited.
Born on July 24, 1990, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Chase gained fame in the 2000s with roles in 'The Ring', 'Donnie Darko' and the English dub of 'Spirited Away'. Hernández noted that the actress faced personal difficulties and sought a safe home in her final days.
