The Women's Empowerment and Skill Development Center in Addis Ababa graduated 909 women trained in various professional fields today. In her message at the graduation ceremony, Director Abebe ABBB stated that women who had been victims of severe social problems were employed in different professions after building their capacities through training.

ABBB emphasized that development without bringing change to human lives cannot be complete. She noted that the efforts to make Addis Ababa a city of comfort for its residents, social justice that has been challenged, and opportunities for future generations are bearing fruit. The center described this gathering as evidence of its mission, which, since its establishment, has been to open a new chapter of life for needy mothers caught in various social and economic difficulties.

To date, the center has trained 2,401 professionals, enabling them to pursue better lives through work and serve as examples to others. Its primary goal is to become a new ray of hope for women affected by social problems. Supporting organizations expressed thanks for aiding the training.

Center Director Dr. Erparsa Chala stated that the graduates come from all sub-cities of the city and have passed the institution's professional competency examination, making them suitable for the job market. She said this activity is the first initiative among the city administration's human resource efforts.
