Three Bulldog riders qualified for the Semi-Finals in Kentucky, scheduled in two weeks. Lauren Bartkiewicz earned Reserve Champion in Beginner Horsemanship, advancing through her regional placing. Grace Slusarski took Reserve Champion in Ranch Riding, also advancing. Christopher Warwick placed third in Open Horsemanship and qualified for the Regional High Point Rider Competition, earning a spot in the Semi-Finals to compete for high point honors.
Other notable results included Tommi Bok in third place in Rookie Horsemanship, Baylie Villani in fourth place in Level 1 Horsemanship, Denae Covey as Reserve in Rookie Horsemanship, and Bryleigh Ahearn as a Finalist in Level 1 Horsemanship.
In addition to the riders' achievements, the team celebrated Sheldon being named Horse of the Year. This award, voted on by all competing teams throughout the season, recognizes the horse's contributions to the program.
The advancing riders will compete at the Semi-Finals for a chance to qualify for the National Championship. The top four at Semi-Finals will proceed to the national event in North Carolina at the Tryon International Equestrian Center.
