Singer Ana Castela, 22, returns to TV Globo on Saturday (26) with appearances in the novela Coração Acelerado and Altas Horas. She provides the opening theme for the 7pm novela and plays herself in special scenes. On Serginho Groisman's Altas Horas, she will be the musical guest in an episode celebrating Brazilian sertanejo music.

The singer played herself in previous episodes, romantically involved with the character Raul, played by Filipe Bragança, sparking a conflict with Naiane, portrayed by Isabelle Drummond. Originally a one-off, her role may continue due to its success.
In an interview, Ana Castela shared her initial shyness about a kissing scene. “Eu conversei com o Felipe e falei: ‘Felipe, eu não sei, eu tenho vergonha, principalmente porque tem muitas pessoas assistindo e ninguém nunca me viu beijar’. E aí ele falou: ‘Fica em paz, lá na hora vai rolar, o que for para ser será’. Depois de gravar umas duas vezes, ficou mais natural”, she said. She admitted her acting ambitions: “Eu penso muito de verdade em querer realmente fazer uma novela”.
On Saturday's Altas Horas, it marks her second appearance on the show this April. Serginho Groisman selected her outfit, joking: “Eu não sei se você vai estar preparada para o meu gosto”. Other artists, including Roberta Miranda, will also perform in the sertanejo music-themed episode.
