Andrés Bello University will open the Palacio Herquíñigo and Casona de Las Condes to the public during Heritage Day on May 30 and 31, 2026.
Andrés Bello University will offer free guided tours at two of its historic buildings in Santiago. The Palacio Herquíñigo, built in 1919 in Barrio República, will welcome visitors on Saturday, May 30, with an exhibition on women in Chilean history.
The Casona de Las Condes, a colonial structure dating back to around 1560 in the Las Condes district, will open on Sunday, May 31. The tours will include exhibitions on Martín Gusinde and portraits of Andrés Bello generated with artificial intelligence.
Both visits will start at 10:30 a.m. and require prior registration at unab.me/diapatrimoniosculturales. Ricardo Abuauad, dean of the UNAB Creative Campus, noted that these spaces connect the city's memory with contemporary uses.
