Aston Martin signs Breitling as official F1 watch partner

Aston Martin has announced a multi-year partnership with Swiss watchmaker Breitling, naming it the team's official timepiece provider. To celebrate, the duo unveiled a limited-edition Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 featuring the team's racing green accents. The collaboration highlights shared values in precision and performance.

Aston Martin, the Silverstone-based Formula 1 team, has entered into a multi-year deal with Breitling, appointing the luxury watch brand as its official partner. The announcement coincides with the launch of the Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team, a special-edition timepiece limited to 1,959 units—a reference to Aston Martin's debut in the F1 championship in 1959.

The watch features a lightweight titanium case measuring 43 millimeters in diameter, paired with a black carbon fiber dial accented by the team's iconic racing green and lime green highlights. A neon-green seconds hand on the chronograph matches the accents on the team's cars, while the embossed leather strap includes complementary stitching. The design retains the Navitimer's classic aviation-inspired slide-rule bezel for calculations like airspeed and fuel consumption, powered by Breitling's in-house Caliber 01 movement, which is COSC-certified. The open sapphire caseback reveals an oscillating weight with Aston Martin and F1 team logos, engraved with 'One of 1959' and the phrase 'Instruments For Drivers.' It offers 30 meters of water resistance and is priced at £8,900 for pre-order.

Aston Martin executive chairman Lawrence Stroll emphasized the alignment: "Our pursuit of a World Championship demands partners who match our ambition. Today, we're proud to welcome Breitling to the team. Beyond a shared heritage, we are united by values that drive everything we do."

Breitling CEO Georges Kern added: "Aston Martin builds cars that are as much about presence as performance. We share that same heritage of iconic design: every line, finish, and proportion has purpose. Nothing is left to chance."

Aston Martin CEO Adrian Hallmark noted: "Aston Martin and Breitling have crossed paths at key moments in design and culture. The partnership is a perfect showcase of excellence, design mastery and performance."

The Breitling logo will appear on the upcoming AMR26 car, set for unveiling on February 9, as well as on team kits, marking the brand's entry into the F1 paddock.
