Audi updates A3 in Colombia with mild hybrid technology

Audi has renewed its A3 model in the Colombian market, introducing the Sedán Dynamic and Sportback S line versions with Mild Hybrid technology. This update retains the 1.5 TFSI turbo engine with 148 horsepower and adds a 48-volt electrical system to enhance efficiency. Prices start at 159.9 million pesos for the sedan.

Audi Colombia has launched an update to its A3 model, incorporating Mild Hybrid (MHEV) technology in the Sedán Dynamic and Sportback S line variants. The main engine remains the 1.5 TFSI turbo, delivering 148 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed S tronic transmission. The new 48-volt electrical system recovers energy during decelerations and assists with starts, optimizing fuel consumption in urban settings without altering the conventional driving experience.

In performance terms, the A3 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 231 km/h. It features a multilink rear suspension for greater stability, electromechanical steering, and front-wheel drive, prioritizing daily comfort and precision. Standard equipment includes the 10.25-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus, a 10.1-inch central screen, smartphone connectivity, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and the Pre Sense system.

Differences between versions lie in design and cargo capacity: the Sedán Dynamic provides 425 liters of trunk space with a more sober aesthetic, while the Sportback S line includes 18-inch rims, Matrix LED headlights, and a sportier look, with 380 liters of cargo room. Base prices are 159.9 million pesos for the Sedán Dynamic and 175.9 million for the Sportback S line. The warranty covers five years or 50,000 kilometers.
