Bandi Sanjay inaugurates Jan Aushadi Kendra in Karimnagar

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar inaugurated a Jan Aushadi Kendra at Mukarampura Doctor’s Street in Karimnagar on March 21, 2026. The ECHS-empanelled outlet, set up under the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana scheme, provides quality generic medicines at much lower prices than market rates. Karimnagar Mayor K. Srinivas and several municipal corporators attended the event.

On Saturday, March 21, 2026, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar inaugurated a Jan Aushadi Kendra, a generic medical store, at Mukarampura Doctor’s Street in Karimnagar, Telangana. The outlet is an ECHS-empanelled facility established under the Central government’s Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana scheme. The scheme focuses on offering quality generic medicines at prices much lower than those prevailing in the market. Present at the inauguration were Karimnagar Mayor K. Srinivas and several corporators from the Karimnagar Municipal Corporation. A press release stated that the initiative aims to make affordable healthcare accessible to the public through these centres.
