Brazil will face Haiti on Saturday in their second group match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Philadelphia. The five-time champions enter the fixture after a 1-1 draw with Morocco, while Haiti lost 1-0 to Scotland.
Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil side are expected to start as heavy favorites. Defender Danilo warned against complacency, noting the challenge posed by underdogs after referencing Cape Verde’s recent result against Spain.
"It was frightening, because there was an expectation that we would produce a big performance," Danilo said. "Talking about thrashing Haiti would be crazy."
Neymar remains unavailable for Brazil. Predicted line-ups show Alisson in goal for the South Americans and Placide starting for Haiti. Kick-off is scheduled for 01:30 BST.
The sides have never met at the World Cup. Brazil hold a 6th FIFA ranking compared to Haiti’s 84th position.
