Canada Soccer has named a 21-player squad for the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar, marking the nation's ninth appearance at the tournament. The team, led by coach Mike Vitulano, will compete in Group K against Uganda, France, and Chile from November 3 to 27. This expanded 48-team event offers Canada a chance to secure its first-ever win at the youth global competition.
Canada Soccer revealed the roster on October 21, 2025, selecting players born on or after January 1, 2008, from clubs across Canada, the United States, and Europe. The squad includes 12 players from Major League Soccer academies such as CF Montréal, Toronto FC, and Vancouver Whitecaps FC, plus two from Canadian Premier League teams, Atlético Ottawa and York United FC.

Canada qualified by topping Group A with a 4-0-0 record at the Concacaf U-17 Championship Qualifiers in Bermuda in February 2025, scoring 28 goals and conceding two. The team will prepare with a camp in Dubai starting October 24, including a friendly against Germany on October 30, before arriving in Doha on November 1.
Group K matches are scheduled at the Aspire Zone Complex in Al Rayyan: Canada vs. Uganda on November 5 (10:45 a.m. ET), France vs. Canada on November 8 (8:30 a.m. ET), and Chile vs. Canada on November 11 (7:30 a.m. ET). The top two teams per group plus the eight best third-place finishers advance to the Round of 32, with the final at Khalifa International Stadium on November 27.
