Cordillera police report zero crimes in 58 towns

The Cordillera police reported zero crimes across 58 towns during the week of July 4 to 11. Officers also arrested 35 fugitives in a weeklong campaign.

The Cordillera Administrative Region recorded no crime incidents in 25 municipalities of Abra, nine in Mountain Province, eight in Ifugao, seven in Apayao, five in Benguet, and four in Kalinga. Three police stations in Baguio City also logged zero crimes during the period.

The regional police office achieved a crime clearance efficiency rate of 81.82 percent and a crime solution efficiency rate of 78.18 percent. Manhunt operations led to the arrest of 35 wanted persons, including five listed as most wanted.

Benguet Police Provincial Office and Baguio City Police Office each arrested 12 fugitives. Abra PPO recorded five arrests, Ifugao PPO three, and the remaining provincial offices one each.
