UFC CEO Dana White has confirmed that Conor McGregor will miss a full year following a knee injury at UFC 329. The fighter is targeting a summer 2027 return.
Ultimate Fighting Championship CEO Dana White stated that Conor McGregor sustained an ACL and meniscus injury during his appearance at UFC 329. White confirmed McGregor will be sidelined for a year as a result.
McGregor has announced that his next fight, scheduled for next year, will mark his final bout. He described the planned return as "The Last Dance."
McGregor previously posted footage of himself throwing kicks ahead of the UFC 329 main event. He had aimed to deliver a strong performance against Max Holloway before the injury occurred.
Dana White added that McGregor now targets a summer 2027 comeback after completing rehabilitation.
