Degerfors IF seeks replacement after Pikkarainen knee injury

Juhani Pikkarainen will miss the rest of the season after injuring his knee during training. Degerfors IF is now searching for one or two replacements.

Sport chief Patrik Werner confirmed the need for reinforcements. He told Fotbollskanalen that the club must bring in one or two players to replace Pikkarainen.

The injury was earlier reported by Nerikes Allehanda. Pikkarainen is a centre-back for Degerfors IF and the injury occurred during a training session.

Degerfors IF therefore continues work to secure the team's defence for the remaining matches.
