Deni Avdija targeted in NBA props for Portland-Pelicans game

SportsLine experts recommend betting over 7.5 rebounds for Portland Trail Blazers forward Deni Avdija in Wednesday's matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans. Avdija averages 25.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 4.9 assists this season amid Portland's two-game losing streak. Fantasy projections also highlight his consistent production in the 12-game slate.

The Portland Trail Blazers face the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night, November 12, 2025, as part of a 12-game NBA slate in Week 4 of the 2025-26 season. Portland aims to end a two-game skid, with small forward Deni Avdija's performance seen as pivotal. Averaging 25.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game, Avdija has logged at least 35 minutes in four consecutive outings. Last season, he finished strong with 12-plus rebounds per game, but a slow start this year dropped his prop line.

SportsLine's model, which simulates games 10,000 times and holds a 26-13 record on top-rated spreads, backs Avdija over 7.5 rebounds at +105 odds. "Avdija ended '24-25 as a monster 12+ rebound per game player. The Pelicans have been getting demolished on the boards by 4 per game and especially at home with a ridiculous -14 per game in 3 games," said SportsLine senior data analyst Stephen Oh. "We are projecting him for 8.3 rebounds and would charge -125 for over 7.5 boards." Over his last five games, Avdija has posted 28.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 5.6 assists, with a 28.3% usage rate.

Other top props include Cedric Coward over 12.5 points (-103) for the Grizzlies and Mark Williams over 12.5 points (-118) for the Suns. "I'm going to give Coward a chance to redeem himself after he only scored 11 points last night," Oh noted, citing Coward's 30 minutes, two steals, two blocks and perfect free throws in that game. For Williams, who has four double-doubles in his last eight, the matchup favors scoring despite a recent low-output win.

In DFS, Avdija is a core play at $8,700 on DraftKings, drawing a Pelicans team ranked 28th in defensive efficiency. The slate features a high total of 238.5 for Cavaliers-Heat and a 16.5-point spread in Wizards-Rockets, with Portland listed as a 7.5-point favorite per some projections.
