Cleveland Browns quarterback Dillon Gabriel has been nominated for the NFL Rookie of the Week award for Week 10 following his performance against the New York Jets. Gabriel threw for 167 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-20 loss. He also added a career-high 54 rushing yards.

In Week 10, Browns quarterback Dillon Gabriel showcased his growing confidence during a 27-20 loss to the New York Jets. The rookie completed 17 of 32 passing attempts for 167 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for 54 yards—a personal best.

Gabriel's first touchdown came in the opening quarter, connecting with tight end David Njoku on a 9-yard pass to cap a nine-play, 95-yard drive. Later, he faked a handoff to running back Quinshon Judkins, rolled to his right, and delivered a deep ball to wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, who dove for the score in the end zone. These plays marked Gabriel's career-high in touchdown passes.

Following the game, Jeudy praised his quarterback's development. "I think Dillon's confidence is growing each game," Jeudy said. "Each game he's getting better and better. All a quarterback needs is opportunity and consistency. So, him being out there and getting more reps builds his confidence. I see him growing each week."

Gabriel's nomination for the Pepsi Zero Sugar NFL Rookie of the Week comes alongside other standout rookies: Saints quarterback Tyler Shough, Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson, Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, Falcons EDGE Jalon Walker, and Seahawks safety Nick Emmanwori. Fans can vote for the winner on the NFL website and mobile app through Thursday at 11 a.m. ET. The award includes a championship belt, with six players later nominated for NFL Rookie of the Year honors in January.
