Discovery Channel has announced its full lineup for Shark Week 2026, featuring 20 specials that run from July 26 to August 1. The event includes returning series such as Air Jaws along with new programming that incorporates K-pop themes.
The annual programming block will open on Sunday, July 26, with K-Pop Shark Heroes at 8 p.m. The special pairs actor and comedian Ken Jeong with singer REI AMI as they work to change perceptions of sharks in East Asia.
Additional premieres that evening include Air Jaws: Red, White and Breach at 9 p.m. and Invasion of the Mega Sharks at 10 p.m. Joseph Boyle, head of content at Discovery Channel, said the schedule continues a legacy of bold storytelling and must-see cultural moments.
Later in the week, Expedition Unknown: Shark Secrets will air on Wednesday, July 29, with explorer Josh Gates examining historic shark encounters. Ultimate Shark Dive, starring high diver Molly Carlson, is set for Thursday, July 30.
The week concludes on Saturday, August 1, with Great White Highway and Thresher Shark: Stun to Kill. All programs will be broadcast on Discovery Channel.
