Disney has released a first look at Han Solo arriving at Disneyland's Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge land. The character will debut alongside others from the original Star Wars trilogy starting April 29. The update includes new storylines and John Williams' iconic scores.
Disney announced earlier this year a significant expansion for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland, set to launch on April 29, coinciding with May the Fourth celebrations. The changes will introduce characters and narratives from the original Star Wars trilogy, including films like A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi, as well as The Mandalorian and other shows previously absent from the park. Han Solo will join Chewbacca at the Millennium Falcon, with Princess Leia Organa appearing nearby, Luke Skywalker roaming the outpost, and Darth Vader patrolling with Stormtroopers in search of Jedi. Disney shared the first glimpse of Han Solo on Instagram, depicting the smuggler captain searching for his ship and expressing displeasure over Chewbacca's maintenance. This visual teaser shows Han inspecting the Millennium Falcon upon arrival. In addition to the characters, visitors will hear John Williams' scores throughout the land, such as the “Main Title,” “Force Theme,” “Cantina Band,” and potentially “Across the Stars.” These enhancements aim to immerse guests in a new era of the Star Wars saga.
