The jury described Ryding as "a fearless creative and beloved star who challenges norms with style as a tool." He told DN about his fashion awakening with stylist Paul Edwards Musoke, who also won best creator. Ryding is starring in The hunger games: Sunrise on the reaping.
Lykke Li won best dressed woman and joked that she won 17 years ago: "I think you've forgotten that I've won this prize before." The jury called her "an expressive and unpredictable pop icon" with a unique signature. Ellen Hodakova was named designer of the year.
Other winners include Thomas Cooksey as photographer of the year and Noor Khan as model of the year. The gala featured spectacular red carpet outfits, with trends like cream colors and corsets.
