The third installment in the franchise became the streamer's top title for the week of June 29 to July 5. The performance came during the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
Viewership fell short of Enola Holmes 2, which achieved the equivalent of roughly 29 million views in its opening period in 2022. Netflix measured the second film in hours viewed rather than the current views metric.
Other recent Netflix originals posted comparable or higher numbers. Voicemails for Isabelle opened with 31 million views while Office Romance reached 20.9 million.
On the television side, the Harlan Coben series I Will Find You added 16 million views in its third week for a total of 74.1 million views after 18 days.
