Ethiopia has gained recognition from united governments for its efforts in population management and health improvements, according to the minister. These actions affirm technology's potential to enhance lives and strengthen societies.
As part of Digital Ethiopia 2030 vision, the country is shifting from a traditional to a digital economy, acting as a hub for initiatives and research. Strong legal and institutional frameworks have been established to boost creative jobs and safeguard citizens' rights, he noted.
Expanding digital infrastructure, providing national IDs, and digitizing government services foster trust between the government and public. Ethiopia's advances in electric mobility and green growth demonstrate that economic development and environmental protection can align.
