Musician Fiersa Besari's wife, Aqia, was involved in an accident while preparing for a vacation to Yogyakarta at Gambir Station, Central Jakarta, on January 3, 2026. The elderly driver who hit her offered Rp200,000 to settle, sparking Fiersa's anger. Aqia suffered no serious injuries, though the family chose to withdraw the police report.
On Saturday morning, January 3, 2026, Fiersa Besari's family arrived at Gambir Station after a performance at Jiexpo, planning to continue their trip to Yogyakarta. As Aqia and manager Ubay unloaded luggage from the taxi trunk, a car hit them from behind, pinning Aqia between two vehicles. The driver, aged around 60-70, even advanced the car again despite Aqia's screams of pain.
Fiersa, who was carrying their child Kinasih, reacted immediately. "Aqia and Ubay who were taking luggage from the trunk were hit from behind, pinning both between the cars. Ubay managed to slip to the side. Aqia could not. She was already screaming in pain when the driver, seemingly thinking it was in reverse, moved forward again, squeezing Aqia even more," Fiersa wrote in his Instagram Story.
Fiersa's anger peaked when the driver emerged and downplayed Aqia's injuries. "When the driver got out, it turned out to be an elderly man around 60-70 years old (not fit to drive). My first reaction was great anger. But I was even angrier when he dismissed the condition by saying, 'it's just a sprain.' Then he offered 200k to settle. I exploded," he continued.
Aqia received initial treatment at the KAI Gambir Health Post before referral to a nearby hospital. X-rays showed no broken bones, only muscle trauma causing temporary swelling. Despite this, Fiersa reported the incident to police, but withdrew the report to avoid lengthy legal proceedings. The driver received only a ticket and STNK detention. Fiersa stated he cannot yet forgive the perpetrator who ruined their family vacation.
