Four actors join cast of Apple TV's The Off Weeks

Zoë Winters, Tony Macht, Ravi V. Patel, and Will Yun Lee have been added to the cast of the upcoming Apple TV series The Off Weeks. The show stars Ben Stiller and Jessica Chastain, with Michael Showalter directing and Alissa Nutting as showrunner. It follows a writing professor navigating life after divorce and a new romance.

The Apple TV series The Off Weeks has expanded its cast with four new members, as reported by Deadline. Zoë Winters, known for her role in Succession, will portray Jenny, the ex-wife of the lead character Gus Adler. Tony Macht, from Dying for Sex, takes on the role of Kel, Gus's teaching assistant. Ravi V. Patel, recognized from Animal Control, will play Drew, Gus's friend, while Will Yun Lee, who appeared in The Good Doctor, is cast as Willy, Jenny's new boyfriend.

The series stars Ben Stiller as Gus, a writing professor whose life unravels after divorce. He grapples with custody of his children during 'on weeks' and develops a risky romance with Stella West, played by Jessica Chastain, during 'off weeks.' Stella's arrival creates tension between Gus's responsibilities and desires, leading to a 'fatal collision course,' according to the show's description.

Ben Stiller also serves as an executive producer, alongside director Michael Showalter and showrunner Alissa Nutting. The production is handled by Apple Studios. Previously announced cast members include Arian Moayed, Annaleigh Ashford, Richard Gere, and John Cho, all as series regulars.

The Off Weeks explores themes of personal chaos and conflicting priorities in the aftermath of separation. No release date has been specified in the announcements.
