The 2026 Governors Ball Music Festival concluded on June 7 in Queens after three days of sets interrupted by severe weather. Artists including KATSEYE, Lorde, Ravyn Lenae and A$AP Rocky delivered notable performances at Flushing Meadows Corona Park.
The event ran from June 5 to 7 and faced flash thunderstorms on Saturday that canceled sets by Blood Orange, Kali Uchis and Amyl and the Sniffers. Stray Kids shifted to an earlier slot while Major Lazer provided a highlight with a hit-packed performance. KATSEYE drew a large crowd on Friday with precise choreography during songs like “Gabriela,” though member Manon was absent. Lorde incorporated “Girl, So Confusing” into her set for the first time on tour, performing it solo. On Saturday Ravyn Lenae played tracks from her forthcoming Blue Island album. Slayyyter stood out on Sunday with songs from Wor$t Girl In America. Dominic Fike debuted an unreleased track titled “AI.” A$AP Rocky closed the festival on Sunday with material from Don’t Be Dumb but started 15 minutes late and had his mic cut at 10 p.m. JENNIE and Clipse also performed to strong crowds.
